The North Whidbey Pool offers open swim times for lap swim, water aerobics, and volleyball. They also offer recreational open swim sessions.

While you can walk in during the open swim times, they recommend you make a reservation to swim. Making reservations can guarantee you a spot in case of the pool reaching capacity, and can help you skip the line when you get there.

Does the Oak Harbor pool offer swimming lessons?

Yes, they do have swimming lessons available for all ages. Registration for swimming lessons will open a few weeks prior to when they begin. We recommend signing up on the day it opens, as classes usually fill up on the first day of registration for many age groups.

North Whidbey Pool Partnership with NAS Whidbey Island

The North Whidbey Pool, Park, and Recreation District has a partnership program with NAS Whidbey Island. NAS Whidbey Island does not have a pool on base, so they have partnered with both NWPPRD and Fidalgo Pool to offer free admission for both active duty military and reservists.
